Autumn can be very warm and meaningful.
For many years, autumn was not the time of year that fascinated me, more often it caused sadness and melancholy. Yellowish, red tones, mixing with longer-lasting greens - were not my palette. Just like fog, dew, humidity, the smell of fallen leaves were not. Just like cobwebs fluttering in the wind when summer begins.. Just like the voices of birds flying away or the barely visible, like dots, disappearing image in the sky... all this was definitely not my theme until..
I learned to tame all seasons, even the ones I like the least. I learned to find the beauty of nature, not the sadness in the falling golden leaves. Until I learned to accept the cycles of nature, that without the fallen leaves, there would be no new, fresh, fragrant spring buds again.
And then the world became simpler. And then thoughts became lighter, and then a wonderful realization arose that everything around us is just a matter of perspective. And then the desire to paint autumn arose.
Such a beautiful one - the one I saw when I was a child walking 5km. home from school. Every day. Then I had a desire to dive into the autumn fog and feel the drops of fog hanging on the dried leaves. And breathe in that smell of fallen leaves:) Which you won't even understand whether it's very pleasant or just some kind of magical...
That's the story of this painting.
